Building a 21st Century Evaluation Workforce

On Wednesday, December 8th from 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET, FAS' Day One Talent Hub hosted a virtual discussion focused on Building a 21st Century Evaluation Workforce.

The webinar explored opportunities to support agency evaluation and data offices working to implement federal learning agendas and improve the use of evidence in policy and decision making. As the desire for greater evidence in policymaking increases, and federal agencies are tasked with developing and executing individual learning agendas, the need for growing and diversifying agency expertise to work on evaluation, access data,  and deliver on program and policy assessments increases. In this event, we heard from leaders in government working to advance evidence based policy and federal learning agendas, and uncovered opportunities for policy and talent to augment and strengthen federal evaluation and data teams.
